We are planning an X-ray spectroscopy experiment on atoms at J-PARC K1.8 beam line. The experiment will be performed as a part of the J-PARC E07 experiment, where we search double hypernucei using emulsions. A new Ge detector array named Hyperball-X is under construction for X-ray measurement from atoms. In this talk, current status and expected performance of Hyperball-X will be reported.

An interaction between K and nucleus is studied by using the X-ray from the kaonic atoms for a long time. However, it is difficult to determine the K-nucleus interaction by using only X-ray because the value of shift and width of X-ray is not only the potential depth but also the type of theoretical model. Thus, we plan to study it from the other way. In this study, we measure the missing-mass spectrum of the C(K, p) reaction at J-PARC and compare it with the DWIA calculation. Such kind of study have already reported from an experiment at Proton Synchrotron (E548). However, their spectrum is not inclusive one but semi-inclusive one, which is required at least one charged particle hit by their decay counter. Therefore, it is point out that this requirement can distort the inclusive spectrum. In our experiment, we will carry out the inclusive missing-mass spectroscopy by measuring only the K and proton's momenta. Furthermore, we plan to install the decay counter to check whether at least one charged particle hit distort it or not.

Our aim is to develop the technique which identify daughter nucleus decayed from double-hypernucleus. To develop the technique, 8 particles were exposed to emulsion stack with several angles at RIKEN. We will present the result applied for particle exposed horizontally to emulsion stack.

In nucleosynthesis process by slow neutron capture reactions (s-process), there are branching points. From the branching points, nuclear reaction flows fork to some paths. The final abundance ratios depend on such branching points. Isomers on the branching point nucleus sometimes have an important role for branching ratio. Thus, we have studied isomer production ratios following neutron capture reactions. We have developed analysis method using ANNRI detector system at neutron beam line BL04 of MLF at J-PARC.
